Get involved! Even little steps can make a big difference! We would like to hear from you as you participate for feedback, and we are always open to your ideas
and suggestions to share with others. Peace of the Ocean is not for profit and does not accept
any money donations. This is an educational and opportunisitc organization to get people active in
pitching in to care for our planet, in the simplest ways such as picking up a piece of trash.
Making a difference does not have to be difficult or overwhelming in anyway. Could you imagine how much cleaner our planet, and therefore our water supply would be if everyone picked up just one piece of garbage everyday. That piece of plasic you see blowing on the sidewalk- you could be the difference of it getting properly recycled, or it continuing on a journey that may lead it to the one of the garbage patches in the ocean, and thereby, into the food chain, which in turn can harm the lives of wildlife and humans alike.
Start simple: Leave each place better than how you found it. Pick up a piece of trash. Start by making it a point to pick one piece up a week. You will be amazed at how a simple awareness can grow, and before you know it you will be picking things up more and more. You will also become a role model as people witness you doing these simple things, thereby increasing their awareness. Don't pass that piece of trash on the street. Take the opportunity to make a difference, and pick it up and reclyle it.

We ourselves feel that what we are doing is just a drop in the ocean. But the ocean would be less because of that missing drop.
